About the Triathlon Festival

 

The 2011 Flatland Triathlon will be hosted July 16 at the City Hall campus in West Des Moines, Iowa.

 

What Is It? The Flatland Triathlon, presented by Bank Iowa, is a day-long event for kids, age 6-19, of all ability. We'll start the day with four elite athlete draft-legal races, followed by races for athletes new to traithlon.

 

Race Goodies: Every athlete will receive a goodie bag with
a race shirt, and other items, courtesy of the Flatland Triathlon and race sponsors.

 

Post Race Party: Athletes will be able to celebrate their success at the race "Recovery Zone" with plenty of healthy, post-race recovery food and drinks!

Flatland Triathlon will be a USA Triathlon sanctioned event.
