Race Format: The Flatland Triathlon will feature a safe, participant-friendly time trial start (athletes start the race individually in :05 intervals). The swim is hosted in City Hall Lake.

Race Age: According to USA Triathlon rules, every athlete will compete based on the athlete's age on 12/31/2011.

Packet Pick-up: Packet Pick-up will be hosted from 2-7 pm on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Valley Church, located at 4343 Fuller Road, West Des Moines, IA 50265. An Amateur Athlete Meeting will be held at 5:15 pm.

Amateur Athlete Awards: Every athlete will receive an
award at the Flatland Triathlon. The top 3 athletes in each age division (15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7 & 6) will receive an award.

Race Results: Race results will be posted in alphabetical
order near the finish line and online at this Web site.
